During various stages of processing uranium in Uranium Conversion Facility (UCF) in Isfahan, significant amounts of liquid waste is produced which leads to evaporation ponds. It seems to addition to environmental issues with recycled uranium from existing pools is also economically. Various physical and chemical methods for removal of uranium wast is used such as solvent exterction, ion exchenge, chemical perecipitation, membrane processes, etc. Each method has advantages and disadvantages. The ion exchange method, the due to lower cost, less acid pollution with organic compounds, convenience and high selectivity has been considered. In this study, natural zeolite was used to separate uranium from UCF waste. These investigations include studies of equilibrium, kinetice parameters and optimization of effective factores on absorption. Also the absorbant appeared an approporiate behaviore ( 90% absorption in efficient condition ) in uranium absorption from respective waste. The studings showed that uranium absorption is impressed by surronders pH and the maximum of absorption accures at 5 pH. Reaction kinetic whould be quick and the efficint duration will be at 1 houre. Infring from data fitting comparison after exprimenting and investigating isoterms appeared that langmuir isoterm adjust better with data. Results of uranium releas has best efficiency for 1M nitric acid and duration of 60 seconds express. The examining of adsorption mechanism showed that diffusion in liquid film and into particle has the lowest effect on process and the chemical reaction is the controler factor. Adsorbant showed good behavior in the adsorbtion of uranium from waste. Keywords:Radio active waste, Uranium Recovery, Ion exchange, Adsorb
