Invention of the first generation of transgenic plant was one small step for man and a huge step for human. These plant usually have an additional treat which is added to plant treats, for example with addition of herbicide resistance gene, we are able to produce resistant plant which growth much more easier and economical than before and moreover farmers prefer to use this kind of plants. The whole story causes human to think of more beneficial use of plants, like production of recombinant, pharmaceutical or industrial proteins. These late plants are called Second Generation of transgenic plants. Using plant as bioreactor is beneficial in comparison with other expression systems like Bacteria, Yeast and transgenic animals. some of the most important advantages of plant expression system over other s are: using exist agricultural infra structure , ability for cultivation of wild surface of the land, Scalability with the minimal costs, production with lower costs, absence of human pathogens and ability of plant to fold protein correctly. It has been expected that plant expression system would challenge other expression systems in near future. In this research desert plant Artemisia sieberi which is one of the most successful spices of the deserts used as expression host to produce human growth hormone as pharmaceutical model and expression level was 2 ngr in each cubic millimeter of plant extract and in other world it was 0.00007 % of Total Soluble Protein (TSP) and by this its proved that Desert are capable to be our future factories for production of pharmaceuticals.
