Iran due to its limited precipitation and inappropriate temporal and spatial distribution with an annual average rainfall of 250, a quarter of world's average, is considered an arid or semi-arid country. In addition, Isfahan province with an annual average rainfall of 120 millimeters per year is one of the driest regions of the country. As a result of limited surface and groundwater in central areas plus population growth and increasing need for water in different sectors, especially drinking and agriculture, groundwater table has dramatically dropped. In agriculture sector, a high percentage of water is wasted due to inefficient use mainly due to incorrect irrigation methods. Improving irrigation methods therefore is one way to save water in agriculture. On the other hand, educating villagers and farmers about optimum irrigation methods and domestic use can help to rectify consumption methods. The main goal in this study is to identify water consumption in rural areas (Andalan village case study) and also to study factors affecting efficiency of agriculture water in the village. This research used attributive and survey methods through questionnaire to identify farmers’ views regarding methods of increasing the water efficiency in irrigation. The data of this research were gathered via simple random sampling method including 72 farmers of Andalan village. The research tool has been questionnaire with reliability calculated by Cronbach’s Alpha quotient for all questionnaires and the figures for specific questions for increasing agricultural irrigation efficiency were 0.80, 0.89, 0.82, 0.82, and 0.85 respectively. Outcomes of the research illustrated that in the studied society, %59.2 had elementary education and the average for the age was 49 years. Also, %58.3 of the population of surveyed society had more than 30 years of farming experience, %65.3 do farming as the only source of income and has no other jobs. According to findings of the research, the role of Agriculture Organization in improving irrigation efficiency in the studied society has been relatively good and this Organization has been able to improve irrigation efficiency via following up the issue and running more efficient educational courses. Furthermore, they have underlined role of education in regards with raising social, cultural and technical awareness of farmers which eventually would enhance irrigation efficiency. According to the finding of the research, most effects among the subjects which involve increasing irrigation efficiency are dedicated to laser leveling of land and smoothing slopes and ups and downs of uneven farms (87 percent) .According to the outcomes of the research, there is a meaningful relation in 0.99 levels between educational level of people and the amount of water used in each hectare for any crop in the studied society. Also, based on the outcomes of the research, there is a meaningful relation between
