It can be referred to medicinal, industrial, forage and nutrient plants productions.as the most existing produce in rangeland ecosystems. ( Gundelia tourenfortii L.) is one of the medicinal plants which belong to (Asteraceae) family. It is an useful species for reduction of blood fatness specially cholesterol, protects the liver, blood parification, treatment of migraine, cardiovascular diseases. in this study it has been tried to assess the sutitability Habitat of (Gondelia tournefortii L.) and relation of plant cover characteristics (density, canopy cover percsent) with environmental factors using ordination and maximum entropy model. the sampling in Sex rangeland habitats Teiran and Krone (Kord sofla), Freidan (Kerch), Freidoonshahr (Khameslv), Chadegan(Hotat abad), and Semirom (komeh and morak) with randomized systematic pattern and using by 1.5×2 plot dimension The sample size was determined 660 was done and the percent of canopy cover and density indices were determined. in each rangeland place a soil profile was collected and soil factors (texture and depth soil, organic matter, saturation moisture, lime percent, amount of phosphorous and restorable potassium were measured. The climate factors due to the meteorological stations and using by simple linear regression method were estimated. Physiographic characteristics (slope, aspect and altitude) by clinometer device and GPS were specified Investigation of vegetation relationship with environmental factors from RDA ordination analysis using CANOCO software was performed. in this study presence data of Gundelia tournefortii L. were collected by field survey (go onto the field) and using hand held GPS device which are consist of 94 presence site. There are 22 environmental layers including 19 climate data and using DEM, slope, aspect maps has been provided and imported to the maximum entropy model. The first axis of ordination have been a very strong correlation and negative with canopy cover and density (r= 1, r= 0.92) respectively and the second axis showed correlation with soil depth (r = 0.85). factors average of annual temperature, evaporation, phosphorus and slope percent were the most important factors in rangeland habitats separating of ( Gundelia tournefortii L.) species. annual precipitation about 200 to 400 mm, altitude 1700 to 2500 meter, slope about 10 to 45 percent and average of annual temperature about 12°C to 20°C is appropriate for presence of this species. In order to model sutitability Habitat of (Gondelia tournefortii L.).this species good attendance in deep clay soils having organic matter. Evaluation of maximum entropy model using equivalent AUC value (0.945) shows good agreement with ground reality show Effective factor on Gondelia tournefortii L.using the maximum entropy model distributions respectively of most participation including amount of annual precipitation, precipitation in three month of water the year, average of daily temperature, maximum temperature of the warmest month of the year and isothermal areas.
