Our purpose in this thesis is to show that if is the segre embedding of in then secant varieties of the segre varieties expected dimension . Finally we show that does not have the expected dimension and conjecture that it is the only defective example in this infinite family. Also, we conjecture that has expected dimension every where except in {s = 3 , t = 4}.
