Iran is the main production site and growing center of different species of the genus.Astragalus verus Oliver in the world . Gum trgacanth is one of the most important plant gum which is exudated from the stem of Astagalus verus. The gum extracted from the species has numerous applications in foodstuff, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and industrial materials and processes, which give it a high economic value. Iran is its major producer across the whole area from the Pacific Ocean to Asia, accounting for 70% of its global production. One major production site inside Iran is Isfahan Province, where 31.4% of its land hosts different varieties of the plant as its natural habitat, around 74% of which is the specific habitat to the genus Astragalus tragacanthus.In the present study, Astragal shrubs were collected from five major habitats(soh,varkamar,kalahrod,tar, varpa) across the northeastern and eastern regions in the isfahan Province. and most important inorganic elements,carbohydrates and Amino acid were specified and compared .Flame photometric and atomic absorption were esed to determine the inorganic elements,HPLC for carbohydrates and Amino acid analyzer for Amino acid determination. The results revealed that Ca and P had the highest and the lowest quantities (0.91% versus 0.002 %), respectively, in the exudates.Between 9 anino acid which were recognized and measured,Hydroxyproline (152.9nmol/g) was the most, and metionine (1.22 nmol/g ) the lest in amount rdlatively .the results showed that saccharose(13.52% د ) have the greatest carbohydrate amount in Gum trgacanth.To investigate relations of quality indexs with some ecologic factors,most important ecologic attributes of investigated areas were determined in three groups: climate(12 factors),soil (21 factors)and physiographic(10 factors).To study existing similarity between investigated areas and normal" index), one soil factor (available phosphorus) and one physiographic (altitude) had meaningful impact on this normal" ، laces No. 2 and 4 were in a group instead. The two habitats No.2 and 4 sodium and potassium are the higher than other places therefore more are use of health materials. The effect of sugars and viscosity on the habitats Separation No.1 ، 2 and 3 places in a group and No. 4 and 5 were instead of the other group.
