In the last decade, the topic of MIMO telecommunication systems has been taken into account in the field of radar as well as its capabilities. MIMO Radar has a better performance in detecting the radar target than the SISO radar because of its objective vision from several different directions. Since in practice the interference model is non-Gaussian, in this thesis, we derived detector based on compound Gaussian interference models. hence, the compound Gaussian interference model have been proposed recently, called interference CGIG, has been studied in detail, and the GLR detector based on it for MIMO radar is extracted. In addition, the adaptive GLR detector is obtained for CGIG interference with unknown matrix covariance. A new perspective on binary composite hypothesis test recently proposed to achieve radar target detection SFET. In this method, a separator function (SF) is first introduced, in which the test of two-sided and multi-sided hypothesis is converted into a one-sided hypothesis test, By estimate the separating function new detector achieved. Using this method, different SFET detectors are obtained for the SISO and MIMO radars .
