Today, cost reduction in operational projects is one of the main concerns of all managers. This goal is specifically more vital in mineral exploration because of huge amount of costs and risks which such a projects deal with. Stepwise Performing of exploration projects is a method ot cost reduction in which more favorable regions introduce in each level for more detailed studies. In this project, an exploration effort has been carried out in Takht-e-Solayman 1:100,000 geological sheet and a specific parts of region has been suggested as more favorable area for Carlin-type gold mineralization. And also this project presents the promising application of two variants of TOPSIS method (namely the conventional and modified versions) in multi criteria decision making processes for data fusion of a broad exploratory geo-dataset in mineral potential/prospectivity mapping. Information layers used in this study includes 1:100,000 geological sheet layer, Aster and ETM + satellite images, Stream sediment geochemical data, faults layer and airborne geomagnetic data with lag of 7.5 Kms. in order to achieve more precise results, exploratory evidences in Zarshuran and Aghdarreh Carlin-type gold mines as the active gold mines in the region have been used. After Evaluating Mine Exploratory Evidences, it revealed that gold mineralization in the region has a tight association with carbonate units and Precambrian black shale, silicification and sericite altrations strike-slip and tensional faults. After processing, the weights of each layer were determined with Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method in Expert Choice softwore and Matlab coding was wrote for final integration by conventional and modified versions of TOPSIS method. Finally, final map was drawn in Arc Gis and final mineral potential maps indicate adequately matching of high potential zones with previous working and active mines in the region.
