Entrepreneurship is the main concern of developed and developing countries for many years. In developing countries, policy maker is not giving close attention to women entrepreneurship, especially rural women's entrepreneurship. Rural women play a key role in achieving the development goals. Rural women's entrepreneurship can create job, increase the income of rural households and reduce the rural-urban migration. The aim of this study is to evaluate the impact of social capital on the rural women's entrepreneurship in Isfahan County. Data were collected by interview with 265 rural women through a structured questionnaire. Theoretical framework was quantified by structural equation modeling (Smart-PLS). The results showed that the level of social capital, personality traits, access to infrastructure, individual backgrounds, level of education and women's employment status has an influence on the rural women’s entrepreneurship. These findings suggest that for improving rural women's entrepreneurship, it is necessary to facilitate the access of rural women to physical and communication infrastructure and financial supports, conducting training courses to promote the personality traits of rural women and government supervision over education of school-age girls.
