Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) materials are the engineers target for their researchs these days. These materials have benfits like density and suitable mechanical properties to Metals which make the designers to use them in their productions. FRPs are made of two sections, Matrix and Reinforcment. It’s proved that mechanical properties of FRPs has direct realtion with Fiber Volume Ratio of the whole FRP. Most of the industrial researches in FRP industry is through increasing this Ratio. In this project we tried to validate the use of 3D woven fabrics instead of Orthogonal Non-Woven because of the benfit fo Fiber Volume Ratio. After prodcing the required samples and comparing them, it is proved that it’s possible to use the woven composite instead of orthogonal non-woven in some applications.
