After the energy crisis in the 1970s, there was a sudden increase in the focus on energy sources other than oil. One of these energy sources is solar energy. Solar energy-specific attention has led to the development of solar cell research and development. One of the reasons for this attention is High capacity for high Efficiency. p-i-n diods and the use of them were one of the focal points for this. These cells are composed of the main part, the two left and right Leads and a central Device. In this study, we intend to study the behavior of p-i-n diodes in solar cells using the Green’s approach. Using the single-orbital Tight Binding model and show it in second quantization and calculating the contribution of left and right Leads in self-energies terms, and by solving the Poisson’s dir=rtl
