The objective of this study was to evaluate the success rate of using pressurized irrigation system and factors that contribute to its effectiveness in Isfahan province. Data was collected from 20 cities of Isfahan province by using stratified sampling. Based on Cochran's formula sample size was 315 farmers who used pressurized irrigation systems. A sample of 30 experts filled in a questionnaire to evaluate the success rate of the pressurized irrigation system. The results showed that about 80% of users had a moderate- weak level of success and only 20% of users were successful. On the other hand, from the farmer’s viewpoint, more than 70% of users had a moderate- weak level of success and 30% were successful. The results also showed that several factors contributed to the success rate. They include individual characteristics of the famers, social, economic, management, and collaboration of supporting agencies and organizations before and after implementation irrigation system. Results of regression analysis showed that farmers belief about the irrigation system, their managerial skills, their communication skills with supporting organizations, and type of land ownership were the most effective factors that contributed to the success rate of the pressurized irrigation system.
