In recent years, the use of heterogeneous catalysts in organic synthesis has provided significant benefits. This catalysts are environmental compatible, low-cost, non-toxic and easily separatable from the reaction medium. In this project, Sn/nano SiO 2 used as a green and reusable catalyst for the synthesis of 14 H -dibenzoxanthenes through one-pot condensation reaction of ?-naphthol with various aldehydes. 8 various xanthene derivatives have been synthesized using the catalyst under reflux and average duration of 3 hours with an efficiency of 50-60 percent. Structure of synthesized derivatives confirmed by melting point, FT-IR, 13 C-NMR, 1 H-NMR analysis. Additionally, nanocatalyst composition confirmed by SEM, EDX, FT-IR and XRD analysis.
