In this work, nitrobenzene was reduced by nickel nanoparticles on SBA-15-g-C 3 N 4 with sodium borohydride in room temperature.Firstly, SBA-15 was synthesized by using P123 as template and tetraethylorthosilicate as silica source. Melamine is one of the nitrogen rich compounds ،pyrolysis of this compound is routine method for preparation of grafitic carbon nitride، that used in this project. Reduction of nitrobenzene was carried out in room temperature، 4 mmol NaBH 4 ، H 2 O-MeOH solvent، 80 mg of catalyst with 20%(wt) loaded nickel in 30 minute time. The prepared catalyst was studied by XRD ،FT-IR ،TGA ،TEM ، SEM And BET techniques. Catalyst ability for reduction of nitroaromatics was studied and gas chromatography technique was used to determine the conversion of the reactions.
