Today, pesticides are being widely used in developing countries.Currently, there are some problems in the field including; pests getting resistant to pesticides due to continuous/consecutive use of such pollutants; the need to use them excessively; and inattention to standard amount of using. The importance of the present study is that the excessive use of such chemical substances as pesticides has devastating effects on the environment and people's health. The present paper aimed at investigating greenhouse owners' behavior fighting against the pest two-spotted Spider Mite, and the factors affecting it. This research was conducted in four cities of Isfahan province, which have three types of conventional, IMP, and biologic cultivation. In order to collect the data, census was carried out among 67 greenhouse owners using IPM cultivation, and 7 greenhouse owners employing biologic cultivation. Moreover, among 687 greenhouse owners applying conventional cultivation, 192 ones were sampled. The data were collected through a structured questionnaire whose validity and reliability were approved. Theory of planned behavior (TPB) was employed to investigate greenhouse owners' behavior. According to this model, structures of attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control affect the intention and purpose of behaviors and eventually cause the behaviors to be done. The results indicate that 89.9 percent of greenhouse owners have improper and very improper behavior in the fight against pest mites, and merely10.1 percent of them have proper and very proper behavior fighting against this pest. The results of the regression model displayed that the variables including subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, intentions, the type of greenhouse structure, and greenhouse-owning experiences have significant relations with behavior. However, the variables:the owners' attitude, age and education; cultivationregion; crops type; the produced cro and the area under cultivation do not have significant relations with behaviors. In order to reduce environmental hazards and manufacture healthierproducts, it is recommended thatsome trustees such as governmentalinstitutions, Non-Governmental Organizations (:NGOs), and trade systems, through various methods, encourage greenhouse owners to perform more convenient behaviors.
